Developed by the New York State Department of Health in collaboration
with the New York State Public Health Association, the plan
addresses the burden of oral disease in New York state and
identifies goals, objectives, and strategies covering a broad
spectrum of issues.
New York State Oral Health Coalition Listserv The goal of the New York State Oral Health Coalition Listserv
is to support and encourage ongoing communication and collaboration
on a local, regional and a statewide level, linking private
and public sectors, and involving as many stakeholders as
possible on issues concerning oral health.

Recent TAC Projects
Assisted in the coordination and implementation of a statewide NYSDOH's school oral health and nutrition surveillance program
Provided assistance to Carthage Area Hospital in developing its first dental program with a state-of-the-art main clinic facility in Carthage NY and an out reach dental clinic at Harrisville Elementary School
Facilitated the Cuba Memorial Hospital acquisition of the Andover Dental Center to prevent its closure and loss of services to over 1,200 Medicaid patients in Allegany County
Assisted in hiring of dentists and dental hygienists for Cuba Memorial Hospital, Rushville Health Center, Carthage Area Hospital and Anthony L. Jordan Health Center in Rochester
Other dental programs include Oak Orchard Community Health Center, Tioga County and Broome County Health Departments, Whitney Young Community Health Center, Prasad Project , and Westfield Memorial Hospital.
